Long distance touring by Bike

As of now I have a Marin B17 (with skinny slick tyres)…in other words a MTB - not so great for long distance road cycling. I won't get a "normal" road bike as I know that one of those will cause me worse problems…

I've been using Wordpress for about 6 months on this blog. I think the decision to move from blogspot to a self-hosted Wordpress set up was the right one - I wish I had done it earlier (or not used blogspot at all).
