Lots being written about "web 2.0" currently - personally I think its the figment of some marketing "gurus" imagination, created to facilitate more vacuous bumf about what is nothing more than "the web" continuing to evolve. Why brand that?

Let me set the scene…a well known store here in the UK is “Matalan” - they basically do the pile it high, sell it cheap sort of stuff, mainly clothes and homeware. I needed a cheap sunhat, so decide to take a visit to see if I can find one. And I do - just a cheap “fishing style hat” which will do fine. I get to the checkout, and give the guy the sunhat…and my cash.

Regular readers will know that I’ve been working on a project for quite some time now, and it’s all about to come to fruition. SmArticle should be going fully live on friday, sold via clickbank - this product should change the way that people build sites!
It’s been quite interesting seeing the way in which the product has been advertised so far, basically little releases of info that are just enough to hook a person into wanting to know more whilst also maintaining a vail of secrecy.

I was having a SkyPE conversation with an Internet Acquaintance I first “met” back in 1998. Of course, back then I was more interested in Yahoo Chat (of course upgrading to CheetaChat for the pretty colours) and Geocities pages than actually earning money..
Anyway, after some catching up, we got around to talking about old time Internet and the first real way to earn income by doing nothing (as I explained that I basically do noting to earn cash by AIS)…brought back some memories that I had forgotten!
