Widgetbucks Herd. And Another List.
The latest piece of javascript to hit the blogosphere. Widgetbucks. You can read about it on one the other blogs that are a part of that herd. Moo. It gets so boring reading the same old crap across multiple blogs. Seems to me that some bloggers just want to be first with any news so that they can be top of the pyramid. It's not about whether or not the product is any good - if you haven't tested it - why blog about it?
To more interesting stuff
I visited the top 100 or so blogs to see if I could get some data for earnings during September, here's my findings;
- John Chow $20512.17
- Connected Internet $13253
- 5xmom $5010
- My Debt Free Goal $4019.61
- My Organic Income $3969
- John Cow $3338.40
- Sha Money Maker $1049
- Tyler Cruz $743.96
- Rajawang $678.38
- One Mans Goal $427.40
- Jon Waraas $300
- Pre Blogging $151.14
Not too many people divulging what they've earned - I can understand that - I used to divulge stats quite in-depth, but then thought "what's the point - I'm not passing myself off as an expert or charging people for my knowledge" - I don't need to prove my income.
Those of you who "make money online" by advising people how to "make money online" probably do need to tell your clients/readers just exactly how much you made…after all, anyone can walk the walk, only a few can talk the talk. I bet that some people would be shocked at just how little some "make money online" entrepreneurs actually make.
I suspect that most bloggers in the genre have made between $1k and $3k - there won't be too many above $3k I believe. Those that make over $3k per month on a month in-month out basis are the ones to watch…

Thanks for the mention.
My blog is still very much getting off the ground, and is aimed at maybe a less tech savy (maybe less sophisticated) bunch.
As for posting earnings in the future, I don't know. When the figures are low it's always easy to see. Plus I love stats !

Thanks for the mention bro. Revealing income is one of the way to get motivated and a challenge to get more the next month since your readers know how much you are making.. I love stats too!

Thanks for the mention. For me, it involves years of blogging and lots of learning to do. Plus hardwork as well. It is truly work, work and work.
