Jumping On The Facebook Bandwagon

If you havn't heard of Facebook yet, get out from under that rock you've been hiding under!

Facebook is a "social networking" site - like Myspace, Bebo and hundreds more - allowing users to create a profile of information about themselves, and keep in touch with friends or even meet new ones. With around 41 million active members, this is a massive market to advertise your products or services to!

The most simple way to promote your sites on Facebook is a simple link on your profile page. This will be viewable to all of your "friends", and they will be notified whenever you update it. New friends can be located by searching for their interests and hobbies, so it would be pretty easy to add a few friends interested in your niche…

Another way to find new friends who will see the link to your site is to join a relevant group. A group is a collection of people sharing a common interest, who have access to a forum, group image hosting and messaging features. From a quick look,

I can see several affiliate marketing groups - with membership numbers ranging from 4, to 4000…

The best thing to do with a site like this is to join up and have a play with it for a while. If you do, search for facebook@oliciv.net to find me :)

    What about their ppc or is it pay per view option?
