Inside Scoop: Keyword Avalanche to close

Well, not really.  You all know that one of my top recommendations for anyone who is interested in making money online is to join the forum at Keyword Avalanche.

Anyone who is already a member will know the benefits and anyone who is not a member should know that the site originally started out giving away "keyword lists" on a number of subjects each month, and over the years has evolved into a forum that is packed with seasoned pro's and newbies alike.

Anyway, it's closing down for a rebrand.  Over the past few months, I've seen some changes at Keyword Avalanche which are not so good, some which are great and some which make me go "huh???".

I have to agree that the time is right for KA to close it's doors.  The forum has been getting less and less useful with too many indians and not enough chiefs.  There's been a hardcore of perhaps 10 "power users" (myself included) who have kept the forum alive - perhaps it was just the summer slowdown, I don't know.

Niche Rockets

The new site is going to be called "Niche Rockets" - the site will be all about empowering people to break away from Adsense as an Income Stream, and move over to selling products.  The plan is to give away 5 PLR packages per month, to include;

  • Product
  • Articles
  • Website Template
  • Graphic Software Box
  • Sales Letter
  • and more…

Each member of Niche Rockets will receive the same 5 PLR packages and will then be able to rewrite the contents to suit their own needs.

If Keyword Avalanche is anything to go by, members are given a choice of about 20 or so topics, from which to choose the following months 5 subjects.  It works pretty well.

I suspect that the price point will be something like the existing Keyword Avalanche price of $97.  And I suspect that there will be a forum on which some users will be posting lots of juicy info.

It will be interesting to see how this goes, as I believe that there are perhaps 4 or 5 Keyword Avalanche members who sell (digital) products on a regular basis.  So I am unsure who is going to be the person to give advice…the blind leading the blind, perhaps?

I might have to check it out if they launch with an "introductory price" like they did back in KA days. I quit the forum long ago because I found it was losing its relevancy, but now that its targeting more "my niche" with the information products it might be worth another look.

I believe they are talking about making it $147 a month, the forum is the same as when it was KA.

I think they are just repositioning themselves, and that is smart business.

The same people who profit from every idea on there will profit from this stuff and the same people who do nothing with all the information already available will do nothing with this stuff.

I love KA, it holds a very strong place in my heart, but the forum definitely isn't what it was and that is a shame.

Yep, it's now $147. However, watch out for something happening on this blog (with regards to information products) in the very near future…
