How about a years worth of digital goodies?

I'm thinking of setting up a service which offers a years worth of downloads (1 download every day), on a subscription based model…

The downloads will range from article packs, to graphics, to software, to templates, to full-on "business in a box" products.  I'm probably going to price it at $10 per month, that's $0.33 per download.  Some of the downloads will be resellable, some will be personal use.
Obviously, a subscription model is good for me, as the vendor, as I continue to receive a small amount of cash each month.  It's also good for the buyer as he/she can cancel at any time if feels not getting enough value for the $10 spend.

With that said, I need to gauge interest.  Would any reader of this blog be interested in such a service?  If not, why not?  If you prefer to email me directly with your thoughts, please do so on oscshops AT gmail DOT com

I think it would be a very good idea but it will all be about the products that you are going to be providing. to gauge interest write up some detailed product information. what types of software might you let us download etc.

    Gary,

I think it's a good idea too. But you'd be quite hard pressed to come up with 365 products per year that are of considerable quality to reflect your uniqueness that is very symbolic of you - at least that's what I think of you since day one.

Thanks for striving to make things better for all involved.

All the best to you and all yours.

I like the idea, but am wondering if "daily" is good? How about weekly? That would ease the requirements on you for people that cannot get online for a day, then you fielding the email response about how to get yesterday's download.

Sorry to hear about the family thing, hope all is well.

I like the products you have produced, but I'm sure if the quality would still be good for 365 products a year! If it was, and things I could use, then I'd be interested.

I'm with Jon on this one - I think a product a day would just freak me out a little too much.

Maybe 2 or 3 a week, still at the price of $10 a month, which I think is more than reasonable.

Thanks for the comments guys. My thought was to run this on an auto-responder (aweber), then the only thing I have to do is create eamils in batches of 1 month. Once the month has run I would already have created the next months worth. In fact I already have 6 months worth of stuff ready to rock and roll. More details to follow.
