Got a lot done yesterday!
Yesterday was quite a busy day. I had already quite a long list of to-do's and over the course of the day, more and more stuff kept appearing on the list.
osCommerce, doh!
First up, I had to install osCommerce and a template to show a potential customer what the particular template looked like. He emailed back a little later asking me to install the Admin section as well -> I sent him to the oscommerce site to download and install it himself to play with at his convenience.
Website Builders
On a forum that I sometimes use, a person started a thread about Adsense and Site Building programs. I mentioned that although my own Site Building program is almost a year old, it's still the fastest Site Builder presently available.
Of course, I was called out on this, so I made a video which I timed at 2'12" (yes, that is 2 minutes and 12 seconds) for a 10 page website build (content included). White Hat, no scrapings!
I also offered a free copy of my Site Builder to the person who started a new thread about "fast site builders" and asked them to post back their honest comments. Their comments were unbiased & positive. Phew!
Another new domain name
A couple of other people in the forum got in touch to view the video, and one of them commented on the name of my Site Builder and how he has a domain name which is very suitable.
As I fancied making a new blog (for the upcoming Version 5 release of the Site Builder tool), this person and I came to a deal - he gets a free copy of my Tool, some templates and scripts - I get the domain name. Sweet!
Warrior WSO
I then made my way over to the Warrior Forum in order to make a WSO introducing my new tool, the WP Blog Announcer. As I am not into hype and BS, that was pretty difficult considering English is not my best skill.
That was moderated pretty quicky and I had to pay $20 for the WSO to become live. So far, not great results, but I have more than made my $20 back.
A new blog
Going back to the domain name I acquired, I had to transfer this into my domain account - really easy and no more than 30 seconds work. I then set up hosting and installed Wordpress. I found a decent theme and made a few config changes…
A new logo for the blog
Then I had to create a logo for my latest blog-based adventure. I don't really have the graphical skill so found that kinky Web2 logo creator to use. Works great and looks OK, not great, but certainly acceptable!
Updates for my programmer
I had also sent some updates for my Site Building Tool to my programmer. I received the completed file and tested it out. Good results!
A domain name sold
I sold rtxp.com - a fair price as I am not into ripping people off.
And finally, Mr Bean
Oh, I also went to watch the movie Mr Beans Holiday (Les Vacances de Mr Bean) with my nephews - very funny, and well worth going to see, if only for Emma De Caunes - the absolute height of french loveliness!
All in all, a quite "happening day".

Sounds like a full days work to me..
You mention the WSO, i bought the tool, very nice bit of kit I have to say.
Since you say English isn't your strong point, have you every thought of getting someone else to write your sales page? it doesnt have to be all hypey and wild claims, and you get the final say.
I wonder if the investment in a copywriter would bring back extra income?
I suppose unless you split test their sales page against yours you have no real way of knowing.

English is not my mothers tongue…
I don't like those sales pages, and we all know that copywriters can only come up with hyperbole BS. There was a WSO for (I think) $397 for some copywriting, but I thought $397 was a tad too cheap, so didn't bother.

How has your experience with WSO since? Overall were you happy with it?

I spent $20 and made a profit of a few hundred dollars. Hardly worth bothering with to be completely honest. I think that to be successful you need to have a really cheap product, or have a known name (in the Warrior forum).
