Google Checkout UK!
According to the official Google blog, they're now allowing sellers in the UK to offer Google Checkout as a payment option to their customers.
Certainly worth looking in to, I know how many people are sick of Paypal - and it can never hurt to have another payment option, you never know when you'll have a customer who dislikes Paypal.
And to sweeten the deal, they're processing credit/debit transactions right up until the end of the year for free!

Oh, and if any Paypal employees are reading, wondering how they can top this - how about a PP debit card in the UK?

Just read that you require a valid VAT number to sign up - I've not checked it but if that's true, it will disappoint most of us….

You need to give them either your company registration number, or credit/debit card information

I like google checkout - it is short and sweet. I suspect that it has a lower shopping cart abandonment rate, when compared to paypal - but I have no factual information to back up this claim.
