Sell your skills
I really only started my internet ventures about 6 or 7 years ago - a relatively "late adopter" I suppose. However during that time I've learned a lot, from building sites, SEO, the ins and outs of adsense and adwords, ecommerce, some (limited) coding, advertising etc etc. More recently I started writing website copy and now I've pulled in a few SEO jobs as well. In fact I just completed my second website "health check" report; $150 for a couple of hours work.
What I've realised is that all these skills are marketable - I may not be the best available in any of these areas but I'm more than capable and can do a good job for the majority of punters out there (who frankly don't know much at all).
So if you feel you have something to offer, the chances are you probably have - and more often than not you can sell those skills to make good money. If you get the opportunity, give it a go.

6-7 years? That's not being a late adopter. This internet thing is just getting started.
