Maintaining a balanced diet
We all know that in order to keep our mind and body healthy, we need to eat a balanced diet. To feed our body the nutrients it needs means eating from all the different food groups and eating in moderation. It's really very simple.
When you eat an unbalanced diet, you can end up at 30 stones, 5 stones, or even dead. And I am pretty sure that we all would like to be seen as a picture of health.
Over recent years, my weight has yo-yo'd between 10 and 15 stones - it's a lifestyle thing as well as being rather poorly which made my weight drop off. Anyway, I'm now at my optimum weight and always eat healthily, with the odd treat here and there. This set me to thinking…
Taking this to the AIS world
I believe that all regular readers will know that I am an exponent of the "multiple streams of income" method. I believe I have a "balanced diet" of online earnings…
I don't rely just on Adsense. What if Adsense stopped tomorrow or your pub-id was closed down? Would you be able to carry on eating?
I don't rely just on Affiliate Sales. What if your affiliate aggregator was hacked and could not get the site back up for a month? What if they just closed down? Could you still have your cake and eat it?
There's more, but I'm sure you get the drift.
Only Adsense. Why, oh why?
By eating McD's every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you'd soon be 30 or 40 stones. Yet, this is what the vast majority of "online earners" do to create an income - they just stick to one way of earning…it can't be healthy, surely?
Why not have a McD for breakfast, a salad for lunch and then a good pork chop roast for dinner. Or in other words, utilise every way of earning online that you can find in order to maintain a balanced diet of income.
We all know that a roast meal with all the trimmings takes hours to cook and prepare - and this is why MOST people trying to earn a buck won't go in for the hard work of setting up their own product(s). And yet, a good roast is far better for you than a McD, right?
Put in the effort and you will reap the rewards
If you are serious about earning online, then you must have a healthy set of income streams. It takes work and effort to create them - I know this and you know this - and yet I still see scratching around with Adsense and wondering why their income is nosediving into oblivion.
Is it because you are lazy - maybe.
Is it because you are scared to go outside the comfort zone - maybe.
Is it because you don't know anything better - maybe.
Is it something else - maybe.
Is it because you are not eating a balanced diet - definitely.

Diversification is a good thing. I think my problem is the opposite. Not finishing something else and making it work fully before I go on.
