I forgot to mention that I came second in a competition and won an iPod Video.  Not bad, eh?

The competition was part of the Membership recognition awards at Keyword Avalanche, which is run once a month.  Each months winner gets $400 and 2nd place gets $200.  The monthly winners are then forwarded to Quarterly competition.  I came 2nd in the quarterly competition and consequently won the iPod.  Winners are determined by a free vote by all the members, based upon the quality of posts within the Keyword Avalanche Forum.
As I have no interest in a video iPod, I asked for the prize to be converted to cash and then donated to a cancer charity.  Scot, the site owner, was quite happy to do so. I'm pleased that my peers voted me in 2nd place.

The overall winner (Mark) received a lifetime comped membership to Keyword Avalanche, worth $97 per month!  Not bad.  Mark usually wins or comes second each and every month, meaning he receives either $400 or $200, which is a nice little earner for making a few (but all are high quality) forum posts.
