PPP. The last post.
I gave my Pashley PDQ a good go - it's now been consigned to my garden shed as I cannot get used to it. Come the spring, I'll stick it onto eBay.
I purchased it as I believed doing the LeJog (Lands End to John O'Groats) - about 1100 miles, would be easier on a recumbent. I've come to realise that this is a mistake. I decided to fall back to my trusty Marin B17, but also came to realise that there is little point in keeping a good mountain bike when it is unlikely to ever see a mountain!
So, I sold the B17 - and bought myself a shiny new Marin. A Lucas Valley road bike;
It's a lot lighter than a mountain bike, and has some extra space age, weight saving features like Carbon forks front and back, as well as larger wheels (28" compared to MTB 26" - also extra gears, 27 compared to 24). All this means it's much easier to get from A to B (or Lands End to John O'Groats) on this bike…
I decided to make myself a new blog just for my cycling stuff, so that's my task for sometime durung November. This'll give me the benefit of another site in my portfolio as well as removing `bike` posts from the osWorld blog. So this will be my last ever PPP post on osWorld. Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I have a UK domain which I imagine would be quite good for this purpose. It ranks quite well for some relevant terms in MSN - "mountain bike reviews", for example.
Email me if you're interested.

Once I get my bike blog up and running ( likely sometime in the next couple of days), I'll be posting to it most days…

Burty, I came across a bike frame that was IDENTICAL to that Lucas one the other day from a Taiwanese supplier.
Ill take a photo of it tomorrow when im back in the office. It was a really beautiful frame

Burty, check that out.
Not the same as I thought, but a similar concept.
