A few times a week I get requests from other bloggers who want to be added to the links page on this Blog. In return, they say they'll link back. Fair enough, it's an open and honest question, and deserves an open and honest response. Here goes;

I don't do reciprocal link exchanges - if I like your blog, I'll link to it. I can't speak for Oli or Dave of course, but my feelings on this matter are very simple. If you have a blog, feel free to get in touch to let me know it exists! If it's a blog that has some sort of marketing or entrepreneur ethos, then so much the better. If it's brand new, that's OK! But don't expect me to link to you just because you have linked (or offered to link) to me.

So, you want a link from this Blog? You can have one, IF;

1. Your blog is half way interesting to me and/or my readers.
2. You update your blog regularly (at least once a week)
3. You don't use PayPerPost (my personal choice, thank you)
4. I like your blog, and your posting style.

I don't require a link in return. If you want to link to me I would prefer that you link because you like this blog, don't link in the expectation that you will receive a reciprocal link.

This does not mean that my blog is better or more useful than yours - I simply want to make linking more natural. If I like your site, I'll link to it! I don't want you to link back to me unless you like this blog! Fair enough, I guess?
