I don't watch a lot of TV, but find that vegging out in front of the TV is a good way for me to recharge my batteries.  There are a couple of good drama series that I like (Lost, Afterlife), and a couple of comedy series (QI, Extras); other than that I tend to watch "business" type programs when they are on (Dragons Den, The Apprentice).

What I tend to do is tape a lot of stuff, then never get around to watching.  I have a pile of tapes ready for viewing, but probably never will get around to it.  I do like to watch movies though - this week I watched `Da Vinci Code`, `X Men 3` and `Not Quite Jerusalem` (again)…

I just learned that Sky One have bought the rights to the next 2 series of Lost, and will start showing them in November.  Considering that Channel 4/E4 were going to show them sometime next year, this is a great result.  Can't wait, good on ya Sky1.

Sometimes I get really bored of the Computr and Internet, that it's nice to take a few days off and just do nothing.  Watching movies is a pastime that cannot be beaten, and good TV is just as good for wasting time.

Wow November thats pretty early - I didn't know that Sky1 did that - thanks for letting me know. But there's still like adverts every 15 minutes which sucks!

Im a downloader so Im already on Season 3 of Lost (like they are in USA). Its sooooooooooo good lol! Do you watch OC or Prison Break as well? Those are both quality.

I tried Prison Break, but couldn't get into it. Never tried OC, it looks a little "young" for me :)

    Gary,

Are you still looking for a Freeview PVR box? I'm currently eyeing up two candidates; one is highly-rated and the other is very new, but on paper could be great.

See what you think of these (Kelkoo says Martin Dawes is cheapest):

    HUMAX PVR9200T £178

    SHARP TU-R160H £179
