A new book on Aff Marketing was released a couple of days ago — with the mega-launches of `Stomper` and `Click Flipping` it's passed a lot of people (including the Big Marketers) by.

Affiliate Project X is about 50 pages of interesting and `different` ways to profit from affiliate programs. No fluff, no filler.
Sections include;

  • introduction
  • the basics
  • the art of the pre-sell
  • the affilaite diary
  • the workhorse method
  • thief in the night
  • copy the best
  • the opportunist
  • link cloaking
  • tracking affiliate sales
  • backend promotions
  • under-rated promotion methods
  • where from here

I purchased it the day before yesterday, and spent much of yesterday reading & making notes. It's opened my eyes to some areas which I can exploit…

The price of the book is $197 ($232 for those in the EU), but for those who can get in quickly enough the price is presently at $77 ($90 for those in the EU).

The value of the eBook is far greater however - I believe that I can use the methods in here to get my Aff Income Stream producing at least 10 * more than it does at this moment. For a small spend, I'm happy that this eBook has enough value.

Obviously as the methods outlined take time to set up and mature (particularly when busy with `other things`) I have not yet set up schemes from any of the ideas outlined in the eBook. However, I wanted to get that link to you before the price increases to a `harder to decide` level…

Caveat; Do not think that purchasing a Book will suddenly make you oodles of cash. You need to read this Book, study the ideas, make notes, work at it, test and tweak, work some more. The author expects you to spend time on these ideas. If you cannot commit to spending that time, then do not purchase this eBook.

In my case, I am happy to spend the time as I know that my Affiliate AIS is not strong enough, and the methods outlined here should make it into a viable stream.

    Affiliate Links.

You are ALWAYS posting affiliate links - which gives you a slight bias towards the product.

    Am I correct?

Jim, I never post an affiliate link unless I have purchased the product and found it illuminating/useful.

If you take the time to read through the last years worth of posting, I suspect you would find I've posted less than 10 products affiliate links.

So, no, unlike most marketers I don't promote just anything - only things which I feel have relevance or value to myself and (at least some of) the readers of this Blog.

Yeah, to be fair, burt's always honest about where and when he uses affiliate links and justifies his reasons. I don't expect good info for free and if I hear about something here, I'll use the aff link (a la TLA for me). I have respect for the blog and don't feel it is saturated at all, it's a source of honest info in my opinion and is never a sales letter, more of a review, I don't ever feel I've been sold to.

    Cheers Matt :)

I wouldn't like to think that anyone sees this blog as a way of making sales - it certainly isn't intended to be that.

Of course, it's my opinion that providing an explanation of a product along with a aff link (or non aff link) is a good way to monetise a blog - it's certainly more transparent than writing payperpost messages for example. At least with a link, you (the reader) can elect to click it or not.
