Today I bought my first ever Sat Nav system - I'm one of those people who can get lost in my own village. I am terrible at directions. So, I decided to get myself a satnav system, so that I can never become lost again.

Whilst driving home I decided to test it out by deliberately going a different route, to my amazement, it said "do a U Turn as soon as possible". Hardly likely on a dual carriageway (a bit like a freeway)! Of course, a few hundred metres further on, and it had recalculated my route and showed me a new way home! Hurrah!

Anyway, this set me to thinking about the path we take in Internet Marketing - how one thing works for one person but not for another. We all are taking different paths to the same result, but whereas I like to sell my own products, others like to use adsense, and others like to sell links and so on. It's interesting to see how different people with different skill-sets and mentalities approach the same question…
