We've all heard about how you can get Adsense clicks worth several dollars each - with the right keywords.

But, of course, it's not that easy. How are you going to get traffic to your site about debt consolidation, when you're competing not just with other Adsense marketers, but also with the companies who have the marketing budgets to pay for these multi dollar clicks!

An article site about different credit cards is unlikely to be worth your time.

However, there are other ways to get the same adverts on your site!

Have a look at this article over at cockeyed.com. An experiment to see whether a credit card company would accept a torn up application.

Could a determined and dexterous criminal gather all the bits, tape them together and apply for a card in my name? Would a credit card company balk when confronted with an obviously resurrected application?

A test was in order, and when the latest application arrived from Chase Mastercard, I was equal to the task.

Now - look at the Adsense on that page. It displays the same ads you'd find on a credit card review type site, with much less competition for traffic - and, in this case, the site even spreads virally, due to it's subject…

    It goes to show you that the bottom line is content. If the content is interesting, engaging, even controversial you will get traffic.

    Now if I could only be so clever :-)

    The content on that site was very good (what I checked). I'm not sure if the html is supposed to be that way if it is by accident, but the content is hilarious.
