Do It. Not tomorrow, not next week. Do it today.

I cannot get over the amount of people who umm and aah about almost every aspect of what they do.  Rome never got built in a day, that is for sure, but I do know that it was built because someone started building it!

I'm getting tired of constantly telling people to "take action".  Just the other day someone posted a question about something or other that they had not even tried; my response was akin to "go and do it, if you make a mistake, then come back and ask questions".

Of course, this person took my well meaning comment the wrong way and started mouthing off about how their life is so hard and who the heck am I to tell them to stop procrastinating, blah blah blah.

I made a mental note not to bother with that person anymore; if they will not help themselves then why should I spend my time trying to help them.

I just don't get it.  Perhaps some people need to be protected from the world at large in a great big cotton bundle or they have a fear of failure, to protect themselves they would rather ask questions than actually get on with it.  Whatever their problem is, I do not understand it, and I do not want to waste my time trying to understand it.

I think people do fear failure. But if you get into Affiliate Marketing - it's mostly about failure, and learning from it, re-evaluating what was done - trying a different angle until you find something that works.

Too bad the person didn't appreciate what you had to say, sometimes for me a good swift kick in the butt to get my on my way to try something new is just what I need.

    Ah, well…

The world is full of those who expect results to be laid at their feet. They take no accountability for their failure or lack of action. They would rather do nothing and learn nothing than try, make a few mistakes, learn, and try again.

My motto is " I will keep flinging sh_t at the wall until something sticks." It's working so far.

    Regards

People get that mental block and have so many excuses like I just cannot do it, I haven't got time, I have better things I can do.

The penny dropped for me and now I'm doing what I said I would do.

It just takes action like you said Burt. It doesn't hurt if you have the the 3 D's - Dedication, Determination and Desire!
