Blogger > Wordpress
OK, I made the executive decision to swap from Blogger to Wordpress. Domain Name is registered and hosting is set up. Next up is to wait for DNS to resolve, then I will play with Wordpress (I have very little experience of theming WP) for a while to get a layout that I like.
Then I'll attempt to import all the posts and comments from here into my new WP set-up. That should be fun.
I expect to have it completed sometime next week. In the meantime, I shall be looking for a WP theme (I can't be bothered to create my own) - anyone know of a good looking theme repository. Don;t mind if it's free or paid-for.
Ta.

Gary,
I left blogger for many of the reasons you outlined in a previous post. I think you will really enjoy wordpress. The new version of worpress has a really easy to use blogger import script. I had to convert one site with hundreds of posts and had no issues. Good Luck hope all goes as smooth for you.

Let us know how easy the conversion to WP is. Might be good as a backup for those of us still using Blogger if the process is relatively simple…

I just posted this on your old site (teach me not to read all posts first!). Just saying free templates are available the WordPress site as geebandit said, also Template Monster is selling WP themes too now.
If you need a hand with any of the code on WP or pointers on handy Plugins just shout. I've got making a WP theme down to a fine art now

Glad to see the import script worked. It didn't for me when I moved over
Still worth doing though.
