As I already mentioned I already used to run a surname site, so I have some knowledge of the available software.  As I recall the software I used to use was Australian in origin and it was fairly good.  But for this new site I want to use something different.  A little bit of research led me to KK Soft who supply all sorts of genealogical software and paraphernalia.

So, I'm now in possession of the software I need to print out the surname certificates.  At first glance it seems pretty good, and over the coming months I hope to be putting it to good use!!!

I also got my hands on a list of supported surnames, in .txt format.  This will be used for the search facility on the site.

So, as of right now;

I have

  1. Domain Name
  2. Website Hosting
  3. Surname Software
  4. List of Names

I need

  1. Website
  2. Code on the site to allow a search
  3. Paypal button code (really easy, just get it from paypal)
  4. Code on the site to allow people to choose their options
  5. A decent laser printer
  6. Some decent certificate paper
