Slowly but surely, the migration is taking place
I'm slowly but surely updating each of my sites to use Digital Product Delivery. It makes sense as DPD is more flexible than what I'm presently using and I'm able to run an Affliate Scheme as part of the service!
Today, I set live the rebranded osC Books site - all sales buttons go via DPD. Aff Scheme pays 50% and is also via DPD. So much easier than the previous site and script (a bug ridden piece of crap called "Elite Weaver").
Let me know what you think of the new look site. I prefer it as it's a bit more accessible than it previously was and I have tried to make it a bit more "modern" looking. The previous designer did well, but the look was 4 years old and a bit stale.
Next up for this site;
- a few more updates to some eBooks
- a new ebook or two
- make some more cover graphics
- find some "pro" affiliates (I pay 50% if anyone is interested, email me)
eBay and Digital Deliveries
What a fscking nightmare. I've been trying to add one of the eBooks onto eBay and have followed the instructions TO THE LETTER. I get to the very end of the product adding scenario and get an error message telling me that all Digital Goods have to be in the following category: everything else > information products
D'oh; that category is NOT selectable! I've emailed eBay to ask how to list a digital item as a classified when the category it's asking to put them in is not selectable. Waiting for a reply.
Then it's onto the next site that needs updating!

New design looks quite familiar
But the layout on the individual book pages is much better. My only comment would be to maybe look at a max width as the site looks a little lost on a large res.
