Breaking News: Digital Product Delivery now supports Affiliates
I just heard on the grapevine, well not really so much a grapevine as direct access to the developers …
Digital Product Delivery will be supporting Affiliate Sales from later on today.
In my opinion, this one feature should lead to Digital Product Delivery becoming the #1 download service. After all there is only 1 main competitor!
What does this mean in practice?
Well, say I sell a product via DPD for $100. I can now offer 50% (or more, or less) commission to people who wish to sell the product as an affiliation. I think that most everyone knows how to earn money by mentioning a product and then linking, hoping people will buy it - and then get a cut of the payment
Forget Clickbank, forget crappy self-hosted solutions like EliteWeaver or Dotwidget, forget the likes of DL Guard and those odious $7 scripts - yes, I have used them all and none of them compare to the ease of use, and quality of DPD. Now, if you are a vendor of any type of digital product, you have absolutely no reason not to give Digital Product Delivery a good go.
And if you are one of those (rare as hens teeth, I know ;)) souls who like to make money by mentioning goods and services, you now have the opportunity to sell Vendors products and make good commissions!
And to top it all off, affiliates have two options for selling Vendors products;
- Link through to "usual" sales page
- Just put a buy button or link on their own blog/site
Option 2 is really great as most Affiliates seem to dislike those awful long, cheesey sales pages - so now you can write your own blurb and use the linking button. Easy as 123. i've not seen anything like this from anywhere else - it's a UNIQUE feature of Digital Product Delivery. And of course, there's no additional fees for Vendors or Affiliates…
Everyone's a winner!

I used DPD on a site recently and was very impressed. The affiliate feature makes using them a no-brainer now. Best go and create something to sell…!
