Too Much Work

I have just recieved a refund request on one of my products. The product in question is sold from a short sales page which includes a video showing how it works. The buyer told me that, after trying the product, it was too much work, and he was expecting some kind of automated solution to his problem.

(The entire selling point of my tool being that it wasn't automated!)

I know this is an issue frequently discussed on this blog, but it always bears repeating. If you put no work in to something, you're unlikely to get anything out of it. You may see blog posts here, and elsewhere, about x amount of money being made every day on autopilot (AIS), but these systems all take time and effort to set up.

Internet marketing is not a way to retire after a few months of doing nothing - like any other method of generating an income for yourself, you're going to need to put some work in…

These people are tyre-kickers who want everything handed to them on a platter. They waste their own time and mine/yours in the pursuit of something which they will never attain.

IMO: just cheerfully refund and then block hus/her email address from ever buying anything from you again.

Most likely they were too lazy to read the sales page in the first place. I am amazed at how people will ask for information about making money, but then are to lazy to even listen to the details. It seems they just want the money handed over to them instead of having any plan to do anything themselves.

This one made me smile, I thought I was the only person who got this sort of thing.
We explain on the Comment Hut sales page that it is not automated and we still get people ask how they can spam with it.
You can't , that is the whole point..dohhh

I guess that's why you can't sell a book about moneymaking that highlights the bits that really count.

I've only recently been introduced to this site - it's the first 'tell-it-like-it-is' site on the subject that I've seen in a very long time. One day, I hope to have learned enough from you folks to be able to contribute something useful myself.
